We are proud to present Jane Yurk of Roseburg as our Featured Quilter. Jane’s passion for quilting has evolved over a decade of quilting projects while perfecting her skills and knowledge. Jane enjoys paper piecing and has loved the patterns of Judy Niemeyer and was delighted to attend a retreat hosted by Judy. Jane is always learning new long arm quilting skills, and she has now started teaching classes which she enjoys very much.
Jane will be present at our Show, and her booth will display many of her creative works. Please visit with Jane at her booth and talk with her about her quilts, tips, and techniques.
Honored Quilter
Our Show will also feature the work of our Honored Quilter, Doris Koozer. Doris has been a member of our Guild since 2007. Her sewing projects and quilting have evolved since being a fourth grader. She has taken many classes and workshops with her work being featured in many quilting books. Her quilts and sample were illustrated in “Color and Composition for the Creative Quilter” by Katie Pasquini Masopust and Brett Barker. Doris has volunteered her many skills to the Guild. She was Chairperson of our 2012 “Kaleidoscope of Color, Opportunity Quilt, and is currently chairing the 2013 quilt.
Doris will be present at our show for you to see her work and talk with her about her quilting expertise.
